这个假期第三次出国，还是按捺不住兴奋的心情！

希望这次旅程也能玩个痛快，可是还是避免不了花花绿绿钞票的约束。

反正，花完了再来烦恼吧！：）就别想这么多了！

成绩放榜了。只能说现实战胜过理想。可是，我也要知足。的确，这个 sem 比较 dreaming 一点，所以，成绩一定会退步。

老天也好像有眷顾到我似的，让我也有几科得到 “A" 的惊喜，甚至本以为会 “打包”的科目，还莫名其妙地得到了B+。心里真的是充满感恩的咯！这里也要感谢兆伦跟我复习一夜的中国通史。

想起那晚K书的情景，的确很难熬。一晚没睡，到考场生不如死似的，看到考题心里的失落感，和一些别的因素，让我绝望。

下个学期，我会尽量鞭策自己，考出更好的成绩来！最重要的是，依赖性不能太大，凡是都要亲历亲为，自己靠自己才较为踏实。

说到就要做到！加油吧业贤！

考试的确难熬。

这次sem2的考试，是我经历众多考试中最备感压力的一次。

虽大部分的考卷都考完了，但心情一直不能高兴起来，反而更低落。

在这过程中，失去了许多，也得到了很多。

我失去了我宝贵的睡眠，临危不乱的气势，开朗幽默的一面，保持我GPA的尊严的能力。

我得到了爸妈无微不至的照顾，好朋友的关怀，辨识可交与不可交朋友的能力。

其实，问题在于我自己。总把学业看得太重。父母没给予任何压力，反而自己施加压力，无法释怀失败的滋味。

也许，这就是太势利，一直想要保持ＧＰＡ的后果。因此失了足，弄巧反拙。

是时候别把学业看得这么重，都经历了这么都考试，还是死性不改。这次虽然成绩会跌倒谷底，但都要秉持着坚韧不拔的精神，继续努力。

但，人总是会伤心一下下，才能从这阴影中爬起。

昨天带了两条Tobelerone 巧克力给我的学生。

补习完后, 踏出大门时，弟弟羞涩的从手中递了个有chewing gum 的Lollipop 给我。哥哥躲在门后看。

当我坚持不要时，他大方的说:“ 老师，我们有很多!”

本来给他们巧克力并没有什么意义，但换回的却是他们的真诚对待和纯洁的心。

我感受到了。说要不教他们还有点舍不得。

希望你们的这份真诚能永远保存着。

又22 岁了！人说长大时，就好想回到以前。的确，自己好想穿梭时空，回到童年时的我。那童年时的纯真恐怕也在22年的人生中淡去。已经，找不回小时候吃雪糕甜蜜又兴奋的滋味。

生日也和平日一样，只不过有好友相聚和陪伴。

生日前夕，来到了植物园。没想到却下了大雨，是有够衰的咯！雨虽然一直不停地下，但却抵挡不了我们 Cam-whore 的兴致！！！以下照片为证。

人善，被人欺。

I wished I could quit my job, not seeing the people whom I don't wish to see. Not being tight up with social relationships and what not. Things are getting complicated within myself. Maybe, I, myself is too difficult to get along well. But the income is too much to part with. I need money!

I hope I will have better job prospect when I am out of the U. In the meantime, anyone got steady income for me to earn and sustain me till end of July?

SUPPER - after such a long time

Yes, it's been a long long time since I had supper and I know it doesn't explain why I am still so big size... Muahaha.. Actually wanted just to catch up with sec sch friends. But, our two good friends pangseh us at the very last moment for supper just now. So my sec sch bud and me went to AMK Mac for our supper, without them! It's been quite sometime since we meet up.

We ordered so much that we found it difficult to finish.... But in the end, we still managed to finish all.

It was after finishing our food, a hilarious thing happened. I was engrossed talking to Qing on what model of car I would buy in the future, just I was mentioning that "Lambogini is too a luxury car to buy even if we can afford" , I missed, dropped and fell into a deep drain!!!!

Quah Quah Quah!!!!

Luckily it was like 150m away from the Mac, if not I dunno how Malu I will feel. But, there are still a few people behind us saw it. We quickly got back into the car after Qing helped me up and as I got up, we couldn't stop laughing. Haha. It's been donkey years since I have fallen down, not to mention into a drain. I can't believe I missed a big drain? I realised more people saw it when I was inside Qing's car and just about the car is going to move off, I saw a husband pointing at the drain to his wife signalling to her to be careful and his finger came pointing towards our direction in the car!!!

DAMN IT!

I think it's a retribution for having such a sinful supper. The heaven knows I need to slim down and is giving me a warning not to eat again! Just talking crap.

It struck me while I was having tuition a while ago- Why am I slogging my free time away while I can just chill and relax at home?

I just dread going for tuition lessons sometimes, especially after an exhausted day just like today.

It just hits me hard and I realised I just want to and like to save now for no particular reason. I am sure my family has given me enough and I have my NS allowance.

Perhaps, saving enough now makes me feel more secure about my future. It just feels good. No doubt, I like to teach, but your passion just dies down when you are extremely tired.

LANTERN FESTIVAL @ CHINESE GARDEN 2008

Brought the old folks to the Chinese Garden for the Lantern Festival 2008 with a group of volunteers. It was my third time bringing the old folks to the Chinese Garden for such event, just that it was a different group of old folks now. This time round, we brought the old folks from Red Hill Estate. Quite a bubbly butch of them.

This year's theme is Hello Kitty! I am of course no big fan of Hello Kitty, but the showcasing of the laterns this year were definitely better than the ones I last visited 2 years ago.

It started to pour while we were watching the fireworks, but it definitely didn't dampen our mood. Since, it started raining, we hurried back to our coach and went back.

I think the old folks enjoyed the day very much. They kept on thanking us while on their way back home.

Goodbye my friend...

It was a small gathering before Chen Yu sets off to USA to further his studies this Thursday. Met up with the gang at Orchard and had a light hearted dinner at 鼎泰豐.

While waiting for the dishes to be served....Presenting to you the 酸辣湯, which was quite disappointing. It tasted like those you can get in Pasar Malam... It was not abit spicy too...Finally, the 小笼包 came... Group Photo!

Not knowing what to do, we randomly caught the movie, ' Journey to the Center of the Earth' at Cineleisure. I must say it suites me, especially when I was once a geography student and had actually thought of the possibility of having living in the centre of the Earth. (Yes! I really once thought about it!)

This movie is about a breakthrough that was discovered by this professor, his nephew and their local guide at Iceland. & the breakthrough is of course the discovery of the center of the Earth. It would be so much more exciting with the 3D screens avaliable.

Our good friend Zhen Gang, decided to treat us to Supper after the movie. We were famished as we ate dinner too early...

And Chen Yu, you know our gang has grown so close to one another that we just feel so comfortable doing anything together. Just want to say that you have been a nice buddy to all of us! Dinner at Kushinbo after watching Hell boy 2. Although it was a real expensive buffet meal, but I guessed we all enjoyed ourselves and the snow crab are ever so fresh!!! I love the desserts. The look of their desserts made me feel elated already, not to say eating them!!! :)

Asia Works Basic Training

Adrenaline is pumping right now in me. There's so many incoherent thoughts inside me after the 5 days Basic Training Course. There are a lot of emotions stirring up in me, everyone of us in the course and makes us really reflect on our lives.

Firstly, I wanna really thank my sis for sponsoring me into this training. I was neutral at first about the training and you know those kind of laid back feeling. But what a deep insightful things I get out of it.

How many people have I not acknowledge their presence in my life? Why am I living in my comfort zone not wanting to open up myself to the people and the world outside. What I really do want? What am I pretending not to know?

These are a series of questions that struck me during the course. It's experiential, I do not know how to tell you the answers to the series of questions.

With emotions flow freely for every single one in the course,there are many new friendships forged! Really awesome bunch of coursemates!

You know we really share about everything, about our lives, our fears and anything and it really makes me feel good and I really want to achieve that.

Now think about this - Have you neglected the person that who holds dear to you but you totally ignore him/her? Have you walked pass collegues that you work with everyday without acknowledging them? Well, I did and it's for you to find out!

有时侯补习时也十分搞笑.

我有一位小四的学生, 他很爱讲话. 没想到, 他的母亲更爱说话.
每当我在教补习时, 她会断断续续从厨房跑进房间, 然后反复问我, " 可以吗?" 而且不只是一次, 而是每5-10 分钟会进来一次.

上一堂课, 当她进来第二次, 还没开口时, 我就连忙回答, "Auntie, 可以啦! 你去忙你的,不必一直进来!" 说完了, 还本以为她会了解, 没想到她却回答...

"Aiyoh! 没有关系啦! Auntie 那里会忙! 你要不要喝水?"

结果, 回去厨房端了杯水出来. 这次更糟, 哈拉了好久...

真的还是听不懂 -_-"!!

E-hub! Downtown East

Down to E!hub @ Downtown east today for Kbox session. I find that the lighting of the building is very vibrant and colourful in the night, so decided to take the above picture when we were leaving. The building structure is pretty unique. But, that aside, there aren't many shops to shop around, maybe it's really purely for entertainment, as the name suggest - Cinemas, bowling alley, Internet Cafe etc.

It's a fresh idea to have this 4-5 Storey high ferries wheel in the hub, but doesn't look comparable to the Singapore Flyer though. Wanyi was saying that if this cost $6.50 for a ride, might as well go for the Singapore Flyer instead.

There's this promotion going on for this particular Kbox outlet and we are all hyped up for Kbox!!! Because, it's a new Kbox outlet, all their facilities are new and in optimum condition and best of all, they give us a spacious room!

I-Phone is coming to Singapore! Singtel has decided to bring in this cool gadget over to Singapore! I am darn excited about this! I have been eyeing on the I-Phone ever since my sister got hers. She is always browsing webpages, checking out information online while she is on the move. It is stylish and has so many functions, particulary, web-surfing while you are on the move. Seems pretty much useful to me, as I would very much like a gadget to listen to mp3s, which movie trailers, videos, web-surfing etc. All these in just ONE IPHONE!!!
I have reserved mine! Have you reserved yours yet?

Just now, I was outside Ding Tai Feng at Paragon, waiting to be seated.

This big eyed cute little girl, around the age of 2, suddenly hugged onto my leg and her face came carassing my leg. I stared at her feeling shocked and a little puzzled for at that moment. I was thinking, "Oh god, who's this?"

The next instance, her mum rushed out from nowhere and shouted, " Girl! What you doing? That one not your Daddy la!"

She looked up at me, feeling rather shy, and ran towards her mother!

Lol! This small girl is damn cute la.

好久都没到这个地方来了. 如今, 又踏进高文, 感觉上就有点不同. 有些熟悉,但却有点陌生. 以前的旧店屋都改头换面, 上了新的色彩. 唯有不变的是那里给予我的安全感.

小时候, 母亲常常与我搭巴士到婆婆家. 婆婆就住在高文的组屋区里. 每当母亲到菜市场买东西给婆婆时, 我就会自己到处游荡, 买东西吃, 看玩具等等. 在那里可算是老马识途了.

如今, 新加坡已找不到那中久时的组屋区小店面的面貌, 取代的是一栋栋高楼的购物商场... 即使保留了那久时的店, 也保不住那久时的情怀......

我长大了, 真的只能怀念...
